Microsoft Announces Amazing Sales Numbers For The Gears of War Series

Becoming one of the most beloved Xbox franchises, and one of the most popular new projects of this generation, Epic’s Gears of War series is a huge hit—proven by the sales numbers just announced.
Talking to Joystiq, Microsoft revealed that the Gears of War franchise has now surpassed 19 million copies in sales. That’s a whole lot of gamers helping Marcus Fenix and company take on the Locus Horde.
So, what do you think is the most famous Xbox 360 franchise: Gears of War or Halo?
