THE BUZZ: Microsoft has announced release dates for several XBLA titles as part of its Arcade Next season.

Trials Evolution kicks things off on April 18 priced at 1200 Microsoft Points. That’s followed a week later by hack and slash gorefest Bloodforge, also priced at 1200 Points.

Franchise spin-off Fable Heroes takes to the stage on May 2 for 800 Microsoft, and rounding it off is the highly anticipated Minecraft XBLA on May 9 priced at 1600 Microsoft Points.

For all of you achievement junkies, each of the four games will have 400 Gamerscore to earn.

EGM’s TAKE: That’s a lot of high profile releases in a short period of time. The one garnering the most interest has to be Minecraft XBLA, the highly successful sandbox title finally making its way onto Xbox 360s after its E3 announcement last year. 1600 Microsoft Points seems a little steep though. Many fans will be happy to see the sequel to the one of the most successful XBLA titles, Trials HD, finally getting a firm release date also. It’s going to be a busy few weeks for Xbox 360 gamers.

Which title are you looking forward to the most? Let us know in the comments below.
