The game is part of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series and lets players fly over a Hawaiian Island completing challenges. The game will be available to download and play on PC completley free from February 29, however three DLC packs will be available at launch to improve your experience. The Hawaiian Adventure Pack includes several new islands, a new plane and 20 challenges, for the low price of 1600 Microsoft Points.
The other two packs both contain planes, the Maule M-7-260C for 1200 Microsoft Points and the North American P-51 Mustang for 640 Microsoft Points.
EGM’s TAKE: If you’ve always been interested in the flight simulator series but never wanted to fork over the hefty price tag then this is perfect for you. You get all the main features of the original series but for none of the cost. Granted, some of the more intricate details and mechanics have been removed in this version, but you get what you pay for in life. This should entertain a lot of plane enthusiasts looking for a quick fix, however we don’t see it having a broad appeal, there’s less fun flying a jet when you can’t have dog fights.
