Microsoft appears to be making an effort to erase the recently cancelled Scalebound from the history books.

Following widespread rumors of the dragon-tastic action RPG’s cancellation, Microsoft recently confirmed that development on the project would cease. What came after was a purge of much of evidence that Scalebound was once in production.

All trailers from the game’s official YouTube page have been removed with any posts from the game’s official Twitter account or from Xbox Live’s Major Nelson linking to game footage now coming up removed or marked as private. It is currently unclear why Microsoft is seemingly attempting to wipe the game from the internet, although it could involve licensing complications.

For now, only a small amount of footage can still be found on the Xbox YouTube channel, hidden in other videos. Luckily, developer Platinum Games is not following the same directive, meaning that much the game’s footage can still be found on the studio’s own YouTube channel.

Microsoft has yet to comment on the information’s removal.
