Microsoft Reveals Special Edition Xbox 360 Chrome Controllers

THE BUZZ: Today, Microsoft announced a new line of Special Edition Chrome Series controllers for the Xbox 360—and we’ve got photos and details for them.
EGM’s TAKE: I can’t believe that Microsoft has released more option colors of Xbox 360 controllers than Sony released colors of PSPs in this country. Given how many PSP options Japan got, that never should have been the case!
Anyhow, if you’re looking for a few new options for Xbox 360 controllers—or are an avid collector and need to own every variant Microsoft releases—then today’s your lucky today.
Company spokesman Major Nelson unveiled the “Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series Wireless Controllers” earlier this afternoon, which are the revised Xbox 360 controllers (that have the transforming d-pad) now coming in a nice silver, red, or blue chrome finish.
These three new controllers will be hitting in mid-May, and will be $54.99 each. Me? I’m eagerly anticipating one in pink.
