Microsoft says their first-party games are ‘superior’ to Sony’s

In what might be called a very strong opinion, Xbox CFO Dennis Durkin, in talking to IndustryGamers, stated that Microsoft’s first-party game efforts have been superior to that of Sony or Nintendo.

“I would ask you to go and look at some of your data, just to compare first party performance over the course of this lifecycle, because I think our first party performance in terms of quality bars and units per title this shift has been superior to our competitions,” Durkin told IndustryGamers.

Durkin then went on to say how important first-party games were to Microsoft, and tout the quality of titles such as Forza, Halo, Fable, and Kinect Sports.
