Xbox Live turns 10 this week and to celebrate Microsoft is sending out free 10th Anniversary branded Xbox 360 consoles to Xbox Live veterans.
Now there’s no exact cutoff date for how long you have to have been an Xbox Live member as all Microsoft’s Major Nelson offered was, “I can confirm we’re surprising some of the #Xbox LIVE members that have been with us the longest with one of these.”
The consoles include a special packaging and color scheme as well as a custom controller, a decade of entertainment logo on the side of the console, and a special “XBL10″ plate on the disc tray. So if you’ve been with Xbox Live since the start then be sure to keep checking your mailbox over the next few days.
