Microsoft Sold An Amazing Amount of Xbox 360s In June

Sales numbers were released today for last month, and we’ve already got one pretty big surprise: Microsoft sold 507,000 Xbox 360s in June.

That’s a HUGE number, typically something you’d expect to see during the holiday season and not the middle of summer. A number of retailers had promotions where people buying an Xbox 360 would get a $50 gift card, which no doubt helped the console to sell so many units.

If you’re an Xbox 360 fan, this is good news for you – it means that the console is still extremely healthy, and because of that, it’ll keep receiving great games for a long, long time.
