(Update) Microsoft Store Offering $20 in MS Points for Select Pre-Orders

By

The Microsoft Store is offering 1600 Microsoft Points ($20) with each pre-orders of several upcoming titles.

No word on how long they’ll be running this promotion (update: see below).

The ten games you can choose from are:

  • Gears of War: Judgment
  • Grand Theft Auto 5
  • BioShock Infinite
  • Tomb Raider
  • Lost Planet 3
  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
  • Crysis 3
  • Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14
  • Dead Space 3
  • South Park: The Stick of Truth

Totally taking advantage of this. So many XBLA games I want to buy. And I already had plans to pre-order BioShock InfiniteTomb Raider, and Dead Space 3. Now I can without supporting GameStop, which I hate to do (no offense, GameStop employees).

Update: Commenter Brandyn Posadas pointed us toward a footnote detailing the promotion on the bottom of each individual game page:

“Valid 1/7/2013 until 4/6/2013, or while supplies last. Available in select stores in US (including Puerto Rico) and Canada; Valid Microsoft Store Online. Xbox Points Promotion limited to customers who have pre-ordered selected game titles. Redeemable only at participating Microsoft store locations. Cannot be transferred or otherwise redeemed for cash or gift cards. Not combinable with other offers. Limit 3 per customer.”
