Microsoft Store Will Give You $30 To Pre-Order Resident Evil 6 From Them

Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 figures to be one of the year’s biggest hits and top sellers, so retailers are naturally getting pretty competitive over sales. Even Microsoft themselves are offering a rather rich deal.
According to the game’s listing on the Microsoft Store, pre-ordering RE6 will net you an extra 30 bucks.
It’s not cash, of course, but the incentive does give you a few digital dollars to play around with: 1600 Microsoft Points, and a $10 coupon for the online store.
If you want to play Resident Evil 6 online but don’t want to spend extra money to unlock some downloadable multiplayer modes, that pre-order deal pretty much gives you an out.
Then again, that’s extra money that could be used for a cast assortment of other downloadable content.
Either way, Capcom is banking hard on Resident Evil 6 to pull stellar numbers when it releases October 2nd. In fact, the company is projecting that they’ll sell at least seven million copies between PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
