Microsoft has warned gamers to steer clear of several “test the next Xbox” sites that have begun springing up. Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, director of programming for Xbox Live, took to Twitter to issue a warning:
Confirmed: All sign-up pages for testing the “next Xbox” are FAKE. Do not give them your information – it’s a scam.

Several rumors suggest that Microsoft will finally announce its next generation console to the world in April. For those that are wondering no website is ever going to allow you to test a new console from either Microsoft or Sony, they have never offered public testing and never will.
Also steer clear of any sites offering free Microsoft Points just for sharing a link, these are also fake and only lead to severe spam with no free Points at the end.
