Following news of former Xbox head Don Mattrick’s departure from Microsoft to serve as CEO of Zynga, Bloomberg reports that current Windows boss Julie Larson-Green is poised to run the company’s hardware division.

In this position, Larson-Green would oversee both Xbox consoles and Surface tablets. According to Blomberg, post-Mattrick restructuring would also see current Skype president Tony Bates handling acquisitions and relationships with Microsoft software developers.

Microsoft has made no official announcements regarding Mattrick’s replacement.
