Political waves have been stirred in the last night’s vice presidential debate, so much so that undecided Xbox Live voters determined Joe Biden as the clear winner. At least, that’s according to Microsoft’s polls.
Major Nelson released voter data just earlier today, highlighting the following trends among viewers:
- Biden won the debate with Xbox Swing Voters: 44.1% of undecided voters declared Biden the winner with 22.9% choosing Ryan.
- Biden was overwhelmingly viewed by our swing voters as being more truthful, garnering the favor of 72.2% of undecided respondents.
- An overwhelming 70.1% of undecided voters do not consider a candidate’s religion when deciding for whom to vote.
- 53.7% of undecided voters felt that Biden is better prepared to step in as president compared to 21% for Ryan.
Major Nelson also cited that last night’s polls, likely building off the initial debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, had “well-over 800,000 individual responses to poll questions” throughout the night.
Two more Election 2012 debates will be viewable on Xbox Live this month. October 16th will be a presidential debate about U.S. domestic policies, while the last event will be an overarching, more general presidential debate.
