Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor launches October 7, Warner Bros. announced today.

Warner Bros. also revealed Mordor’s pre-order bonuses, which includes a bonus pack with the Dark Ranger costume skin and Test of Power challenge mode, available through GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon, and Steam.

First announced November of last year, The Lord of the Rings prequel puts players in the boots of Talion, a ranger who acquires Wraith-like abilities and who goes on a murderous rampage and quest for vengeance after his family is slain by series villain Sauron. The hook, so to speak, is the game’s Nemesis System, in which certain enemies will adapt and evolve over the course of the game in response to the player’s actions.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be available on Windows PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
