Middle-earth

Middle-earth: Shadow of War revealed its first gameplay trailer at Xbox’s E3 2017 press conference, and now we can’t wait to build our own army.

The trailer showed off how Talion and Celebrimbor will recruit new soldiers, in this case a gigantic Uruk-hai named Bruz the Chopper, to assault a fortress, which is part of the updated “Nemesis” system.

New regions of Mordor were shown off, as well as a closer look at the combat mechanics and army management systems. Shadow of War will introduce seven new orc tribes, members of which will hunt you down and attack you, giving you the choice to kill them or “dominate” them, which is how Talion recruits soldiers. After dominating an orc, you will have access to its special abilities when its time to assault the fortress.

Check out the gameplay trailer below (via GameSpot):

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will come out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 10th.
