Mighty No 9

Mighty No. 9 is finally set to launch later today for most platforms, however, Xbox 360 owners are being left out in the cold.

Developer Comcept revealed today that an issue discovered during Microsoft’s certification process has resulted in a slight delay for the Xbox 360 version.

“There were issues regarding the publishing process for the Xbox 360 version of the game, and a certification bug was found in the final round of testing which is delaying the release of that version for several days,” the developer explained. “Our team has already re-submitted the build to Deep Silver (and to Microsoft), and we expect it to go gold within a few days if all goes according to plan.”

As an apology, Comcept will be offering Xbox 360 backers Steam keys so they can play the game while they wait.

It was also announced that the Mac and Linux versions will be a few days late due to the game still being in final testing at Deep Silver.

Mighty No.9 was originally scheduled to launch in 2015, following a successful crowd-funding campaign.
