Mighty No 9

The Kickstarter fundraising campaign for Keiji Inafune’s spiritual successor to Mega Man, Mighty No.9, has now reached two more of its stretch goals.

The campaign has now reached its $2.4 and $2.55 million goals, ensuring that the game will get a challenge mode, a new end stage, and a new boss. The next stretch goal of $2.75 million will add a Beck and Call online co-op challenge mode to the game.

Last week the game reached its stretch goal for current-gen console support. Mighty No.9 will now see a release on PC, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. At $3.3 million raised developer Comcept USA will begin work on a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the title.

Mighty No.9 is currently sitting at $2,537,999 with five days left to go.
