Mighty No 9

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has added PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases to Mighty No. 9‘s Kickstarter stretch goals, developer Comcept announced today in an update post.

“We heard your calls and are proud to report we can finally offer next-gen versions of Mighty No. 9 here!” reads the update. “We know by the time the game ships in 2015, many of you will be proud owners of one next-gen system or the other—or maybe both! If we reach this level of funding, we can add the PS4 and the Xbox One to the list for every backer getting the digital version of Might No. 9 to choose from!”

The level of funding in question is $3.3 million. Inafune launched the Mighty No. 9 campaign with a goal of $900,000, which they reached within the first 48 hours. As of this post, Comcept has received $1,912,076 in pledges.
