Minecraft is rumoured to get an update next week, to version 1.8. Protato_, the same man who uploaded Leaked Minecraft 1.8 footage, (you can watch it at the bottom of this article)has said on Twitter that the Adventure Update (1.8) for minecraft will be released next week, he said;

“Jeb says notch wants to release the update next week.”
