Mojang and Twitch are teaming up to install built-in streaming through Twitch into Minecraft, the two companies announced this past weekend during MineCon.
Streaming through Twitch “at the click of a button” will be added to the Windows PC and Mac versions of Minecraft “soon.”
MineCon 2013 took place this weekend in Orlando, Florida.
Twitch integration into Minecraft is the latest of Twitch’s efforts to be the ubiquitous source of all-things streaming when it comes to videogames. Twitch will become a staple and primary source of home console streams through its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One apps, which will take advantage of both consoles’ gameplay-recording features.
