Anyone who already owns Minecraft: Halo Edition, released last year, will get the Halo 5 update for free when the patch releases on October 23rd. If you don’t own the original DLC and want to explore the blocky world as either a member of Master Chief’s Blue Team or Spartan Locke’s Fireteam Osiris, then the pack, which includes the new skins as well as everything in the initially released mash-up, will cost you $2.99.

The new skins that will be available are:

  • Blue Team:
    • Spartan-117 Master Chief
    • Spartan-104 Fredric
    • Spartan-087 Kelly

  • Fireteam Osiris:
    • Spartan Locke

    • Spartan Tanaka
    • Spartan Vale

The pack is exclusively available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Minecraft. If you prefer your Spartans with a few (orders of magnitude) more polygons, then you’ll have to wait until October 27th when Halo 5: Guardians releases on Xbox One.
