THE BUZZ: Mojang has finally added crafting to the mobile version of Minecraft in its latest update.
The new system is known as MATTIS - Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System. It has a different name as this new system lets you simply craft things by selecting them from a list if you have the materials needed it will automatically create it. Unlike the actual Minecraft where you have to place the materials in a set order first.
This update also improves Zombie AI and adds new cows and ducks.
EGM’s TAKE: Fans have been asking for crafting to be added to the pocket version ever since it was released. It is a core feature of Minecraft and without it the mobile version just seemed inferior. Finally fans have what they wanted, maybe the sales will increase now this important piece of the puzzle is in place.
