THE BUZZ: Minecraft creator Notch tweeted a very interesting image today, one which promises to bring a rather tempting yet scary option to the world of Minecraft.

EGM’s TAKE: While my brain tells me there’s absolutely no logic in ever using such an option once it’s incorporated into the game, it sure is tempting to try. Not that I’d ever use it on one of the world that I really care about, but starting a new world and playing by this rule could be a heck of a lot of fun. Sure, death is already a little scary in Minecraft, as die in the wrong place and everything you were carrying could be lost. Using this option, however, would truly make the game about that brutal struggle for survival in a hostile world.
