THE BUZZ: Mojang developer Jens Bergensten has revealed a pre-release version of update 1.9 for Minecraft.

A similar pre-release was made public for the version 1.8 adventure update. Version 1.9 concentrates on the dark and fiery zones and adds two new enemies, the Snow Golem and the Mooshrum Crow.

“Minecraft Beta 1.9 prerelease can be found here, http://assets.minecraft.net/1_9-pre/minecraft.jar (server jar also available),” he said on Twitter.

EGM’s TAKE: Any chance to get our hands on more Minecraft can never be a bad thing.

What do you hope will be added in future updates? Please comment below.
