Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition developer 4J Studios has announced that it is working on alternative texture packs for its block world.
“We have started work on texture pack support. No dates for any releases yet though,” the developer revealed on Twitter. Alternative texture packs have been available on the PC version of Minecraft for a very long time and allow users to change the look of each block in the game world.
There aren’t many players who still run with the default texture pack on PC and I’m sure Xbox 360 players will jump at the chance to use them.
Are you looking forward to new texture packs? Let us know in the comments below.
