4J Studios has shed some light on update 7 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and also teased the addition of “The End” in Update 8.

Title update 7 will finally allow players to enchant gear and weapons at enchantment tables using XP levels that they have collected, levels will be awarded at a rate of 1 per 30 experience points. Along with these details the developer also revealed that “The End”–Minecraft‘s “endgame” area and home to the Enderdragon–will be included in update 8. Other additions in title update 7 include:

• Animal Breeding
• Potion Brewing
• Experience Points
• Enchantment Table
• Mushroom Biome
• Nether Fortress
• New Tutorial World
• Villagers
• Mooshrooms
• Blaze
• Snow Golems
• Magma Cubes
• Baby Animals

“We have a good bit more work to do on The End, and don’t want that to hold up TU7,” the developer said on Twitter. “The End will be in TU8.” At the moment there is no set release date for update 7.
