Mirror’s Edge 2 has been rumored to be in development at DICE for quite some time now, however DICE is still yet to confirm or deny the game’s existence. Now a Swedish developer has come out and stated that the game is in development at the studio.

Ben Cousins, general manager of Ngmoco Sweden and former executive producer of the Battlefield franchise has tweeted saying that Mirror’s Edge 2 is indeed in development at DICE and that it’s common knowledge in the Swedish gaming community.

“It is general knowledge in the Stockholm dev scene that Mirror’s Edge 2 is in production at DICE,” he said in response to an article by Eurogamer about DICE not wanting to get bogged down as a Battlefield factory, in which the developer revealed that it is working on other games.
