Nintendo fans everywhere have plenty of games they’d love to see come to the Wii U, but Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto recently weighed in with two titles he’d personally love to see.
Those games? Metroid and Star Fox.
“I feel like the possibilities of the GamePad for Metroid could be really fantastic,” Miyamoto recently told IGN. “There’s certainly a lot that you could do there for that game.”
After that, Miyamoto told IGN that the series he’d personally most love to see come to Nintendo’s next-gen hardware would be the adventures of Fox McCloud.
…wait. Remember that crazy rumor that was going around about some sort of game being made for the Wii U that would combined Metroid and Star Fox? Is this Miyamoto’s way of teasing everybody about that?
