MLB 14: The Show launch trailer celebrates 8 years as highest rated sports franchise

Posted on April 1, 2014 AT 11:55am

MLB 14: The Show is out today on PS3 and Vita, and it wouldn’t be much of a release if it weren’t accompanied by a requisite announcement trailer that makes baseball seem as epic in scope as a Marvel movie.

PS3 owners keen on sports of all sorts can also pick up MLB 14 through the $89.99 PlayStation Sports Pack Vol. 1, which comes with this year’s The Show as well as NBA 2K14.

The PlayStation 4 version and its enhanced graphics and fully realized beards arrives May 6. Players who can’t wait to get their virtual baseball fix who decide to pick up the game on PS3 through GameStop will be able to trade that copy back in come May 6 and upgrade to the PS4 version for $20—though, economically speaking it’s smarter to just wait a month and not spend $80 collectively on one game. You also have to be a GameStop PowerUp Rewards member. But hey, your money is yours to spend as you please.

GameStop is also giving out a 30-percent trade-in with any trade-ins (games, systems, or otherwise) that go to any version of MLB 14: The Show.
