Major League Gaming’s Xbox 360 app launches today in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, the organization announced.
The app requires an Xbox Live Gold account and will broadcast professional events live and show original programming. ”The MLG app for Xbox 360 brings our content directly to gaming fans on Xbox Live,” MLG CEO and co-founder Sundance DiGiovanni said.
“We continue to deliver content on Xbox that we know our audience craves and MLG’s premium programming was something we saw a high demand for,” added Xbox marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi.
Tournaments that will be aired live via the app include the Call of Duty Championship on March 28 and the MLG Championship on June 20.
An Xbox One version of the app is set to release later this year.
