Modern Warfare 3 – Admins To Control Unranked Dedicated PC Servers

THE BUZZ: Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Infinity Ward, has revealed that unranked dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 3 will be completely controlled by the server admins, who will get to control what is unlocked on the server from weapons to gadgets to maps.
“To clarify Unranked Dedicated Servers on PC. Admin has full control of unlocks. Can unlock all or fully customize whats unlocked in #MW3,” he explained on Twitter.
EGM’s TAKE: The fact that everything can be unlocked on unranked servers may mean that they are mostly populated by lower level players, although it could also lead to some pretty interesting game modes cropping up.
