Modern Warfare 3 DLC Finally Dated for PC

THE BUZZ: Activision has finally put a release date on the Content Collection #1 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on PC.
The DLC will hit the platform May 8 and contains four multiplayer maps: Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box, and two Special Ops Missions: Black Ice and Negotiator.
It will set you back $14.99.
EGM’s TAKE: PC players have really been delivered a s0lid kick in the crotch by Activision. They are finally getting their first Modern Warfare 3 DLC over three months after the first piece hit Xbox 360, now it doesn’t matter what system you’re using, that just doesn’t seem fair. The platform has already been shunned by the publisher when it refused to launch the Elite service due to piracy issues, and now it is last on the totem pole for DLC. Could the lack of PC DLC support be solely due to piracy concerns? It seems like a weak excuse. Really, why release a game on PC if you’re not going to support it afterward?
Is the amount of time between launch and the first DLC fair? Let us know in the comments below.
