THE BUZZ: Activision has confirmed its DLC plans for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which will begin January 24.
The publisher confirmed that it will deliver 20 pieces of content over the next nine months for premium Elite subscribers. The new content includes maps, Spec-Ops missions, campaign extensions and new game modes. All content will release on the Xbox 360 first with Elite subscribers getting content even sooner.
The first content pack contains two new multiplayer maps, Liberation and Piazza, and is scheduled to release January 24, for premium Elite subscribers. Non-subscribers, PlayStation 3 and PC players will have to wait to find out a release date for the content.
EGM’s TAKE: Infinity Ward appears to have a clear schedule set up for Call of Duty this year, and a more varied set of content than ever before, which should please a lot of fans.
