Modern Warfare 3 Free-to-Play This Weekend on Steam

THE BUZZ: Activision has announced that Modern Warfare 3 will be free-to-play on Steam this weekend.

The free promo kicks off today at 10am PDT and will allows you to play the entire multiplayer game with no restrictions until Monday when it ends. You can pre-load the game right now to give you a head start.

EGM’s TAKE: Anyone who hasn’t played Modern Warfare 3 by this point has little intention of ever doing so. However, it does give a chance for players who may have traded the game in on consoles, to come over to PC and check out some of the latest updates and balance changes. Apart from this select group though, there won’t be too many more who care about this promo.
