Modern Warfare 3 – Overwatch Content Drop Trailer

THE BUZZ: Activision has released a new trailer for Modern Warfare 3, showcasing the Overwatch map content drop that will release later this month.
The map will be available February 21 for Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Elite subscribers, the rest of you will have to wait. ”The battle takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles,” the publisher explains.
EGM’s TAKE: Once again Elite is splitting the Call of Duty fanbase up, and the longer this goes on the more it seems like a bad idea. PlayStation 3 subscribers haven’t even got their hands on the first content drop and already the Xbox 360 is set to get another. Then, take into account the non-subscribers who won’t get ahold of any of the maps until at least March. Activision promised that they would never charge a subscription fee for Modern Warfare 3, but what they have done is create a class system. Those who are willing (or able) to pay and those that aren’t.
