Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

THE BUZZ: PlayStation 3 Elite subscribers are set to get a new Modern Warfare 3 content drop this month.

First, the Overwatch DLC multiplayer map will release March 29 for premium Elite subscribers. Then, the three content drops of the Black Box multiplayer map and two Spec Ops missions; Black Ice and Negotiator, will hit the PS3 “on or around April 12,” according to One of Swords.

The date is slightly vague due to Sony deciding the PlayStation Store update times and not Activision.

EGM’s TAKE: PlayStation 3 players are getting hit harder than ever with Modern Warfare 3′s DLC. Before all they had to contend with was the month of Xbox 360 exclusivity, now they have Elite timings setting them even further behind. However, come April 12 PlayStation 3 players will be caught up with the Xbox 360 once again, unless Activision announces more DLC before then.
