THE BUZZ: Activision has released two new Modern Warfare 3 avatar items onto the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Fans can now dress their Xbox 360 Avatars up as either Captain John Price or John ‘Soap’ MacTavish for the price of 400 Microsoft Points each.

EGM’s TAKE: Only a select few people will be willing to throw down 400 Microsoft Points for each of these. Those are well off Modern Warfare 3 hardcore players, no other person in their right mind would pay that much for their Avatar. Then again, Microsoft must think they will sell otherwise why bother? They remind us more of scary looking dolls than heroes. But, if you have a spare 800 Microsoft Points just laying around and think, “my Avatar really needs a new face,” then you can buy them here.
