THE BUZZ: Multiple users have been reporting disc read errors while trying to play Modern Warfare 3 on the Xbox 360.

A number of gamers have complained of consoles failing to recognize the title or receiving the ”unable to read from disk” message at random points during play. Individuals have reported the same problem across multiple consoles meaning it could be a disc problem. ”If the game doesn’t work on multiple consoles, it points to an issue with the disc, and I’d recommend you replace it,” was the advice given by one Xbox Support member.

EGM’s TAKE: If you are having disc read errors return it and get a new copy. Hopefully this is a problem with a disc batch and not the entire manufacturing run.
