Mojang is considering bringing one of the most popular games on the planet, Minecraft, to PlayStation.

The developer currently has an exclusivity deal with Microsoft for the game, however, once this runs out Mojang will consider moving the game over to PlayStation, lead designer of Minecraft Jens Bergensten recently told iGamer (via Joystiq).

Sadly those who dream of seeing the game make the jump to Wii U are out of luck as Bergensten said that a port to Nintendo’s console is ”very unlikely.” So, could we see a PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft, or even a Vita version? Only time will tell.
