Peter Molyneux and his team at 22 Cans have finally settled on a new name for its upcoming cube based social experiment, it will be now be known as Curiosity: What’s Inside the Cube.
Molyneux revealed earlier this week that the studio had decided to change the game’s original name of Curiosity as it shared a similarity with NASA’s robot which is currently on Mars. “We have a new name for curiosity,” Molyneux posted on Twitter. “After hours of posting, collating office discussions, asking advice from the press the consensus is… Curiosity: What’s in the Cube.”
“Not what I voted for but ho hum. I wanted to call it ‘Cube of Duty‘,” he joked. “Logic and common sense has won out. Thank you all so much for your suggestions. Some truly inspired posts.”
The game was originally scheduled to release last week, but following the name change it will now launch sometime in September.
