Silent Hill

A partnership between Konami and limited-edition merchandise company Mondo can mean only one thing: sweet, sweet, Silent Hill and Castlevania themed exclusive prints, soundtracks, and collectibles.

Prints from artists Becky Cloonan and Sam Wolfe Connelly will first be available for attendees of Seattle’s Emerald City Comicon, which begins on April 7th. There’s an extremely limited run, however: there are only 200 copies of Connelly’s Silent Hill print and 300 of Cloonan’s Castlevania print.

After the convention, any leftover prints will be available online through Mondo’s website.

More merch is scheduled to release later in the year, with vinyl soundtracks for the original Castlevania, Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania 4, and Symphony of the Night confirmed to be in the works. Other vinyl soundtracks from the Silent Hill and Contra series are also in the works, though specific games weren’t named.

Finally, Mondo plans to release a polystone statue based on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night later this year at San Diego Comic-Con.

Check out Mondo’s website to see which conventions stock which merchandise, and to be first in line to snag the limited run prints and soundtracks.
