Come April, Capcom will be patching Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to give the game cross-region functionality and GamePad-only play on the Wii U.
Cross-region play will allow North American and European players to hunt monsters together (up to four players). The addition of cross-region play is in response to community demand.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate stomps its way to North America on March 19 for 3DS and Wii U. Obviously, it won’t feature the aforementioned cross-region and GamePad-only play at launch.
