More Flag Choices Coming to Console Owners in Back to Karkand

THE BUZZ: For those Battlefield 3 console players who wish that maps could have more than three flags, there’s good news concerning the Back to Karkand expansion.

Global Battlefield community manager Daniel Matros confirmed today that on the console versions of Battlefield 3, the Back to Karkand maps would allow for the choice of three or five flags. When asked to clarify if that meant all of the maps in Karkand would offer that ability, Matros stated:

“You can choose either a 3 flag setup or a 5 flag setup based on servers available in the server browser.”

He then clarified further by stating that CQ “has two modes on console”—CQS (3 flags) and CQ (5 flags)—and that all maps in Back to Karkand can be played in either mode.
