In the latest trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Lightning is seen fighting alongside Fang, and game design director Yuji Abe has confirmed that she won’t be the only guest character that you get to fight alongside.

Abe revealed to Famitsu that other characters will return to fight alongside Lightning as she attempts to save the world, but sadly he failed to offer up any names. These characters can’t be controlled by the player–they are completely AI driven–but it’s still nice to see some old faces.

It was also revealed that the game will take an estimated 50 hours for players to complete from their initial run.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is set to release February 11, 2014 in North America and February 14, 2014 in Europe for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
