More details have emerged regarding Halo 4‘s Spartan Ops mode, this time from a video interview with 343’s David Berger and Kevin Franklin.

Berger and Franklin told VG24/7 that Spartan Ops will “push the fiction forward after the launch of the game.” The episodic missions take place “about six months after the events of the campaign.” According to the pair, the cost of the missions will be included in the retail price, so presumably there will be a redeemable code in the box.

Five missions a week will be released, with each block being introduced by a CG cut-scene. A total of 50 missions spanning 10 weeks make up season one.

Are you looking forward to the Spartan Ops mode?
