More Hardcore Playlists, FMG Nerfing Coming to Modern Warfare 3

Posted on February 24, 2012 AT 01:09pm

THE BUZZ: More tweaks will be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 soon, including more hardcore playlists and a nerf for the FMGs.

EGM’s TAKE: While a patch just recently hit the Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 3 (and will be hitting the PS3 on the 28th), a number of other tweaks are already in the works.

First up is the addition of more hardcore playlists. On his Twitter account, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has promised that more hardcore playlists will be coming in the next playlist update—which will include Hardcore FFA and Hardcore HQ on dedicated playlists.

What one can give, they can also take away—and in this case, it’ll be taking away some of the strength of the FMGs in the game. Again we look to Bowling, who states that he agreed with comments players are making that the FMGs are too strong–and that they’ll be receiving a nerd “in a few days”.

More Hardcore playlists? The FMGs getting nerfed? What are you feelings on these two changes? Let us know in the comments below!
