More Than 8 Million People Watched the League of Legends Season 2 Finals

More than 8 million people tuned in to watch the League of Legends Season 2 Finals according to developer Riot Games.
The Finals took place on October 13 and saw the Taipei Assassins crowned as champions. The event itself happened in a packed out venue with around 8000 people present. Riot added that the Finals saw 1,154,000 concurrent viewers at the peak and that over the course of the World Playoffs and Finals fans watched 24,230,688 hours of gameplay.
