Mortal Kombat Closes In On 3 Million Worldwide Sales

Mortal Kombat is still going strong after its release earlier this year and is still managing to hold a position in the Top 10 best selling games in North America according to the NPD.

The game is on track to hit 3 million sales worldwide according to Warner Bros. Interactive Boss Martin Tremblay, speaking in an interview with MCV.

“We are very pleased with the success of Mortal Kombat so far. Tremblay stated, adding that the game has now sold close to 3m copies worldwide.”

The 9th installment in the franchise was developed by NetherRealm Studios and is the first to be published by Warner Bros.
