THE BUZZ: Sony has confirmed that Motorstorm RC will be coming to the U.S. next month.

The Vita/PS3 racer launched alongside the PlayStation Vita in Europe but will not make it to the U.S. until March 6 for $9.99.

In Europe players are able to purchase the game on both systems for just one price, however a different system will be in place in the U.S.

“The ‘buy one, get one free’ applies for only for the European territories – we will provide more details closer to launch regarding our distribution plans, but rest assured that North American consumers will get both for $9.99,” said game director Paul Rustchynsky.

Motorstorm RC sees players control little remote controlled cars around 16 tracks set in four different locations.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s odd that Sony hasn’t just adopted the same campaign in both territories, as it would certainly make things easier to manage. However, fans will still get both titles for the same price, so perhaps each title will be available for half the price, which isn’t a bad thing. The game itself seems like a lot of fun especially if you’re a fan of the Micro Machines series.
