THE BUZZ: The legendary Mr Miyagi, of Karate Kid fame, will be making a special guest appearance in the upcoming Vita augmented reality title, Reality Fighters.

EGM’s TAKE: According to Sony, when you use the create a character feature in game, Miyagi will appear in order to teach you the basics of combat dressed in his usual attire, but will he teach us wax on – wax off? Those “who persevere” with the game will be able to unlock the Karate master as a playable character, but don’t expect it to be an easy task based on that wording. Mitsuo Hirakawa of SCE XDev Studio revealed that the team considered many cultural icons including Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jet Li and Mike Myers. Who better to learn the art of fighting from?
